Panic Attacks and Disorder

Panic is a fear response or as we know the fight, flight, freeze reaction to something threatening, probably something we couldn't give meaning to
Panic is a typical response of our "reptile" brain vs our "thinking" brain necessary for survival, more linked to:

- a Flight of Fight response somewhere in or during prolonged period in Early Childhood (0-7 years old), and/or linked to
- an unhealthy, unsecure attachment to the caregivers in the first half year and/or first year of life as a Baby, creating a Anxious or Fearful attachment.

(Please google the attachment style to see a graph)

From my book:

"An unhealthy attachment is called an Attachment Disorder or Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). This might also be the base of ADHD. AD/RAD can manifest in different ways but the main way is that baby, child or teen does not trust the caregivers which makes his caregiving environment to be there for him for whatever he needs. I also believe that the parent can have the attachment disorder towards the child rather than the child towards the parent, even if the parent has held the baby in a carrier most of the time. A parent can feel like they failed their child or they went through such a hard time, they cannot separate their anxiety from their child. Perhaps they are still suffering from postpartum depression, a traumatic birth or a traumatized marriage and pregnancy. Perhaps the Attachment Disorder can set in at a later stage of the child’s life but still relate to the original trauma and disconnect from the parent. Whatever the cause might be; the parents don’t feel attached or a likeness towards the child. They might feel not liked or loved by that particular child, although the child does love, but in their own particular way or with a misunderstanding which needs to be cleared out by communication. How well do you know your child on a personal level? Have you discussed your feelings with them, no matter their age, in order to know more about their fragile lives? Have you tried to clear out the air? I had an attachment situation with my 4-year-old and so I decided to clear it out over several two-way conversations, which made us find the attachment for both to express ourselves more authentically, whether the ideas were negative or positive.

With an attachment disorder we will observe and experience, most likely, all of the behaviors below throughout their young years and adult years:

Behaving inappropriately in social situations.
Let’s wonder what can possibly go wrong with a child, teenager or young adult:
  • Having difficulty trusting
  • Having difficulty with peers
  • The difficulty with attention or behavior
  • Disrupted development
  • Aggressive or explosive reactions
  • An inward, autistic or borderline personality
  • Depression, suicidal, addictions
  • Unhappy intimate relationships
  • Not much stability or sustainability

Other factors that contribute to RAD: baby loses his caregiver, illness of the mother, parent not available emotionally, unpredictable caregiving, abuse and neglect. These events and treatments show up in the structure of the brain, particularly in case of neglect. The rice experiment by Dr. Emoto is a great proof of the damaging effect of emotional neglect, even more than hate. We will discover this later on in the book.

The regulation of fears are affected by Attachment Disorders; they set off, they explode. As an outsider you might not see which need exactly is not met, which one sets them off and their reaction might scare you, but it is their survival to overreact. It’s like tantrums and usually, hunger, sleep, needs, and wants are a trigger. You can see the same dynamic within any type of partner or within an intimate relationship like a marriage.

On another side note, RAD might be seen or diagnosed as bipolar, add, hyperactivity and perhaps autism but these and RAD are never resolved if treated solely with medications. Autism or true autism, not merely an introverted personality, or other modern-day ailments need to be treated with a severe detox through nutrition, diet, homeopathy, fresh oxygen, blood regeneration and other treatments that contribute to detoxing from harmful vaccinations and pollution through medication, environment, and diet. The initial toxic can be provoked by vaccinations, if you had an infant that was fine prior to vaccinations and changed their reactions, especially after a booster.

You might see parenting as time-consuming and a loss of energy when it is tender, loving and caring towards your children, but research, science, and personal experiences show the opposite to be true if you seek happiness for yourself and for your children. You are inseparable in your inner-experiences.

With all these new concepts and terms mentioned in this book, I advise you to do your further research through articles and videos online as well offline with books and conversations with professionals and other parents, until you find yourself well-rounded on the general subject. Make your own conclusions and follow your instinct of what is the source and solution for your baby, because otherwise, society will tell you. If a subject affects you and your child directly, it’s extra sensitive to our mind, ego, insecurities, and emotions. These experiences give you an opportunity for your consciousness about body, mind, and soul to expand."

Link for Intermittent Explosive Disorder if someone is experiencing anger, or rather rage which we could also consider panic (perhaps in the fight reaction): https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/conditions/intermittent-explosive-disorder

Typically beginning in late childhood or adolescence, the disorder often precedes—and may predispose for—later depression, anxiety and substance abuse disorders. Conservative estimates suggest that intermittent explosive disorder can be found in 2.7 percent of the general population.
Most patients are young men with a history that will often involve frequent traffic accidents, moving violations, and possibly sexual impulsivity. These patients may exhibit extreme sensitivity to alcohol.

Please contact a doctor, therapist, counsellor, coach or healer with a coaching attitude (manage and move forward in a better version of you- attitude) to either cope with panic and manage/maintain, or to create a new mindset (epigenetics, healing..) and to dissolve the root-cause (healing by awareness of the Early Childhood relationship and events). A stronger mindset and holistic mindbody connection, being secure in oneself and meeting the inner-child (Analytical Psychology by Carl Jung) can and will help you to heal.
