What is my ability to:
- receive,
- say “I need help,”
- say “NO,” and
- have self-respect so I can look after myself and therefore give generously from a place of abundance instead of giving from a place that is running on empty?
You could try the following simple hacks to get closer to yourself and get more self-esteem:
- When you look in the mirror, say nice things to yourself.
- Develop a positive attitude towards your own picture.
- Put a picture of you as a 6-year-old up on your bathroom mirror and start talking to her. Comfort her. Create a relationship with a part of yourself that might feel vulnerable and really needs you on its side.
